Undersea to Space and Cyberspace. We are currently seeking an experienced Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Administrator/CAD CAM Engineer to provide leadership and support of the Mission Systems Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) program.

This program consolidates multiple existing PLM systems into an advanced PLM environment that forms the foundation for the Digital Transformation of NGMS Engineering and Manufacturing. The PLM environment contains Engineering and Manufacturing product and process data for the sector and will integrate with other software systems including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and multiple CAD/Engineering tools. This position could be located out of a number of NGMS locations such as
Baltimore, MD, Rolling Meadows, IL, Sykesville, MD, or Charlottesville, VA based on successful candidate’s ability and qualifications.

The CAD CAM Engineer will work in an agile environment to support the sector-wide PLM systems.

Responsibilities include:
• Root cause analysis, debugging problems with the Teamcenter environment and working with the appropriate technical teams to develop, test, and implement fixes to prevent recurrence.
• Monitor, address, and resolve production Teamcenter environment incidents, service requests, workflows, client install packages, etc., collaboratively with the other PLM development and administration teams.
• Document all aspects of system support such that knowledge is readily shared among all those tasked with supporting Teamcenter instances.
• Provide support for System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users as necessary.
• Provide End-user, help desk, support for Teamcenter software.
• Provide demos to users as required.
• Support business readiness and change management activities prior to go-live and in production.

This position may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.

Basic Qualifications for Principal:
• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or science discipline with 5 years industry experience in a Technical role, Masters degree with 3 yrs or PhD with 0 yrs exp
• Must have Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) experience
• Ability to apply engineering techniques and analytical methods to make recommendations for improvements and provide information and assistance to end-users.
• Work and lead effectively within teams where other team members may be located throughout the country and influencing others to action who are not direct reports.
• Ability to support multiple projects concurrently based on priority and criticality. Self-starter with the ability to independently resolve issues and deliver results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are also required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Candidate must possess or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Basic Qualifications for Sr. Principal:
• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or science discipline with 9 years industry experience in a Technical role, Masters degree with 7 yrs or PhD with 4 yrs exp
• Must have Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) experience
• Ability to apply engineering techniques and analytical methods to make recommendations for improvements and provide information and assistance to end-users.
• Work and lead effectively within teams where other team members may be located throughout the country and influencing others to action who are not direct reports.
• Ability to support multiple projects concurrently based on priority and criticality. Self-starter with the ability to independently resolve issues and deliver results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are also required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Candidate must possess or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.



Preferred Qualifications:
• Proven track record supporting the Teamcenter software in an enterprise environment with multiple geographically disperse instances.
• Broad understanding of Configuration Management (CM) principles and methods, CMII certification or training a plus
• Familiarized with different BOM’s (CAD-BOM, EBOM, MBOM )
• Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel and Powerpoint), MS Project, Sharepoint, and Web programming
• Experience using PTC Creo or Siemens NX 3D modeling design software.
• Current DoD Secret Clearance or higher
