Job Summary:

SAVA isseeking a candidate to perform a wide range of tasks in support of securityrequirements within S&T. Taskingshall include, but is not limited to, the following:


  • Other possible locations, Charlottesville, Va and Patrick AFB, Florida

  • Review andcoordinate DD254 Industrial Security requirements for CORs.

  • Assist inpreparation and uploading of security clearance packages in TITAN and PS3databases.

  • Assists inmonitoring progress of clearances and coordinates with SEC and partner agenciesto submit monthly status checks.

  • Relays requestsfor additional required information on processing candidates to COR andcontracting company's Facility Security Officer (FSO), then forward receivedinformation back to Security Staff.

  • Assists inensuring contractor personnel meet the clearance requirement for contracts ornotifies COR of out-of-scope investigations.

  • Informs CORs,contract Program Manager and/or Government POC when proposed contractoremployee is granted a security clearance.

  • Assists inbadging personnel and with in- and out-processing of personnel.

  • Providesadministrative advice and guidance in developing, presenting and devisingresolution to office policy and procedures.

  • Serve asContractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) and provide support to GovernmentProgram Security Officer (PSO).

  • Provide supportfor program security and execution of all security policies and requirementsfor specified SAP programs, compartments, sub-compartments and projects.

  • Support full lifecycle security for SAP at contractor facilities and government installations.

  • Evaluateadherence to minimum and specific requirements for a fully accredited'open' or 'closed' storage facility.

  • Ensure highsecurity locks are properly provisioned and inspect safes.

  • Write observablescontainment plans to obscure the existence and objective of sensitiveactivities.

  • Create templatesfor proactively protecting programs that are vulnerable to exposure.

  • Develop, assessand draft plans to transport classified platforms.

  • Review highlysensitive personnel information, develop profiles, assist in all aspects ofpersonnel security administrative processes.

  • Provide SCIF/SAPFexpertise to ensure compliance with DOD and IC policy.

  • Identifyunderlying issues, convey programmatic/national security implications and offersolutions.

  • Perform SCIFaccreditation to include evaluating physical security, acoustics controls, visualcontrols, access control, electronic and TEMPEST security.

  • Participate indesign phase to ensure construction meets security requirements.

  • Review SCIFaccreditation packages.

  • Maintaininformation security accountability records for SAP including marking, storage,courier, general handling and inventory.

  • Develop specialtopic security briefings to include SAP security INDOC, refresher, marking,special topics and program specific briefings.

  • Maintain SAPestablishment, program security classification guides, disestablishment andreview of quarterly, annual and periodic program documentation.

  • Briefindividuals/groups to SAPs to establish knowledge ofCPls and project status.

  • Responds toinquiries regarding personnel clearances, reporting requirements, visitcoordination, SCI and SAP nomination status using existing databases.

  • Work with CPSOand GSSO to establish, maintain and closeout SAP co-use or SCIF co-use/jointuse agreements.

  • Review, verify,edit, draft, and submit security paperwork for approval to accredit facilitiesand automated information systems in accordance with applicable policies.

  • Conduct orsupport periodic security inspections of cleared facilities in the NCR.

  • Draft andmaintain standard operating procedures, security classification guides andother essential security documents, records and databases.

  • Implementsecurity education program for assigned personnel.

  • Ensure classifiedinformation generated or received is appropriately protected according toguidelines in DIA, DOD and applicable IC security directives and manuals.

  • Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must possess aTS/SCI clearance.

  • At least five (5)years of experience with government security databases (e.g. JADE, ScatteredCastles, JPAS)

  • Training andexperience working with SAPs.

  • Completion ofInstructor led Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE)Introduction to Special Access Programs Course (SA IO 1.0 I) is highly desired.Highly qualified candidates will have completed the CDSE Orientation to SAPSecurity Compliance Inspections (SA210.01) course.

  • Experience withSCIF accreditations and inspections.

  • Experiencedeveloping and implementing security training to meet SAP requirements.

  • Experienceperforming GSSO or CPSO functions for government and contractor customers

  • Completion ofprerequisites for access to JPAS (PII Course)

  • Special ProgramSecurity Certification (SPSC)

  • Bachelor's degreein a related field of study, DoD or Military service highly desired
